Why It’s Hard To Maintain Consistency And How Do I Maintain It ?
Yeah ! So you came here because you have some motto in your life or have some goal in your life. So that is why you came here to know how you can maintain consistency and want to never give up in your life.
Why it’s hard to maintain?
Well, Everybody know maintaining consistency is some thing more tricky and hard. You may think like I can do it and I will do it everyday without break but truth is “NO”. If you don’t believe in me I’ll put you an example here. So let’s take, We want to study for exams which are held in your next week or month. You promised yourself yesterday that you will start learning something today(Present day). So you woke up with energy and motivation that you promised. And after hitting your books and start learning you feel like some energy got generated and start learning those concepts super clean and fast. And after completion of 1hour you will complete some goals that you want to do for this day and “DONE” (Stopped learning for this day). Next day arrives, did the same thing but you will feel like yesterday I’ve learnt so much of things and (In this way I can complete whole syllabus very fast haa…) So you will think like “Let’s do it slow” and will learn some more concepts. Next day arrives and it’s Sunday-Funday so you will leave learning or will woke up too late. So that you are in your way to mislead (Deviation from the work got started from that day). Next day arrives, You will woke up again and learn again and will complete your work but you will reduce it some more less and take less effort (When compared to your first day). Next day while you woke up your friend calls you where you love him/her most so you will neglect your work for that day and same thing happens till three days forward then you will say to him/her that (“I have some work to get done this day I’ll call some time"). And next day arrives, You will finally give up of that.(That is where consistency ends).
You know that doing something we promise is really hard to keep it on way.
So, Guess you got more idea on what I spoke this much of time up.
How do I maintain it ?
Well, here is what you need to know and how will I trick my brain to maintain consistency all the time(Tricking that dopamine and detoxing it to fresh and positive mindset).
- Always think why did you choose that way
- Remind yourself that you are stronger than another
- Focus on the one who motivates you more to do work than the one who breaks your bond towards that work you promised
- Do fresh deal everyday than planning it before(Because you will make your brain surprise everyday with some good thinking than feeling bored of what you planned)
- Give some break but not more than limit to get deviate
- Make friends who have same mindset like you to feel free to encourage yourself(There will be many others who don’t want you to grow)
- Don’t react to your haters and waste your productive time
Then consistency is all yours “Less deviation you have the more productive you be".
